UGES provides third-party asset monitoring and management services using IoT/IoAM platforms, along with project and operations technical due diligence and consulting on process development.

Role Description This is a full time, on-site Volunteer role based in Surat. The volunteer will support various functions related to renewable energy projects, including assisting with data collection, documentation, and basic analysis for wind and solar assets. Day-to-day tasks may include helping with asset monitoring activities, supporting project and operations teams in technical due diligence preparations, and contributing to process development initiatives.





The volunteer may also help organize training materials, coordinate with internal teams, and assist in quality assurance or product-related tasks under supervision. The role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to the renewable energy industry while contributing to UGES’s mission of improving asset performance through innovative solutions.

Qualifications

- Ability to work with data, including basic data analysis, documentation, and use of spreadsheets or dashboards.
- Interest in renewable energy, particularly wind and solar projects, and willingness to learn technical concepts related to asset management.
- Strong organizational, time management, and coordination skills for supporting projects and training activities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with team members and preparing reports or presentations.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and platforms; familiarity with IoT, analytics, or engineering software is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Surat, follow established processes, and contribute positively in a team-oriented environment.
- Relevant academic background (e.g., engineering, renewable energy, data science, or related fields) or equivalent practical interest is beneficial.
- Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to sustainability and clean energy are highly valued.
