About the Role
Kaleva, a fourth-generation heritage Indian sweets and namkeen brand with multiple retail outlets across Delhi NCR, is looking for an Accountant who can also support basic financial reporting and outlet-level data analysis. This role combines day-to-day accounting with structured reporting support for management.
Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally (sales, purchases, expenses, bank reconciliation)
Support preparation of monthly outlet-wise financial summaries under management guidance
Maintain and reconcile raw material usage records against physical registers and Excel trackers
Assist with GST filing, TDS compliance, and coordination with the company's external CA
Maintain Excel-based reports and update recurring MIS templates provided by management
Flag unusual cost patterns or discrepancies in outlet expenses for review
Support budgeting and expense tracking across outlets




Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Accounting (B.Com preferred)
2-4 years of hands-on experience with Tally / Tally Prime
Working knowledge of Excel (formulas, basic pivot tables)
Understanding of basic accounting principles (ledgers, trial balance, P&L; basics)
Prior experience in retail, F&B;, or multi-outlet businesses is a plus, not mandatory
Willingness to learn structured reporting formats and grow into a more analytical role over time
Good to Have
Exposure to GST filing and TDS
Basic understanding of cost/margin concepts
