Job Summary:

We are seeking a technically strong and solution-driven Murex MxML Specialist to develop and support integration interfaces within the Murex platform. The role focuses on MxML workflows, interface configurations, real-time/batch messaging, and integration with upstream/downstream systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in end-to-end trade processing and Murex XML schema development.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain MxML interfaces for trade booking, market data, static data, payments, and reporting.
Configure MxML Exchange workflows (inbound/outbound), including pre/post processing and validation rules.
Manage the full lifecycle of interfaces: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Work with XML/XSLT, Murex Datamodel, dictionaries, and static data mappings.
Monitor and troubleshoot MxML processing issues (real-time and batch), including message failures and delays.
Interface with internal teams (FO/MO/BO), external vendors, and infrastructure groups to manage data flows and message delivery.




Support system upgrades, data migrations, and interface regression testing.
Maintain interface documentation, schemas, and workflow diagrams.

Required Skills and Experience:

3+ years of hands-on experience with Murex MxML Exchange (Murex 3.x).
Deep understanding of MxML messaging, workflow configurations, gateways, and integration topologies.
Proficient in XML, XSLT, and scripting languages (Shell, Python or Perl). Valuable knowledge of Murex data model (trades, products, events, static/reference data).
Familiarity with message queues (e.g., IBM MQ, Solace), FTP/SFTP, SOAP/REST APIs.
Strong SQL and Oracle knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting.
Experience with messaging formats like FpML, SWIFT, and custom schemas.
Solid understanding of trade lifecycle processes and front-to-back system integrations.
