Role Description The Assistant Professor of Accounting is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in accounting and related areas, preparing and delivering lectures, conducting tutorials, and evaluating student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations. The faculty member will contribute to curriculum development,



update course materials to reflect current accounting standards and practices, and incorporate cutting-edge teaching methods. Responsibilities also include academic advising, mentoring students, participating in departmental meetings and committees, and engaging in scholarly activities such as research, publications, and conferences. The Assistant Professor is expected to collaborate with colleagues, support accreditation and quality assurance initiatives, and contribute to the overall academic mission of the University.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Accounting and Financial Accounting, with the ability to teach core and advanced courses in these areas.
Knowledge of Finance and related concepts, enabling integration of financial principles into accounting curricula.
Relevant professional qualifications such as Certified Public Accounting (CPA) or equivalent credential are highly desirable.
