This is a role for someone at the start of their career in food technology who wants to learn the craft properly. You will work alongside our R&D; Executive on live client development: weighing and preparing trial batches, running measurements, recording what happened, preparing samples for clients and keeping the lab in the state good work requires. Much of product development is careful, repetitive, honest work, and doing it well is what makes the results trustworthy. In return you will see real products go from a brief to a manufactured batch — dips, gravies, seasonings, marinades and dehydrates — for brands you will recognise on a shelf. You will be taught, not left to guess, and as you show you can be trusted with a trial you will be given one. We are a small team, so there is no queue to wait in. What you take on depends on what you demonstrate you can handle.
What you'll do
Prepare and weigh trial batches accurately, and record every result as it happens
Run routine laboratory measurements and keep instruments and the lab in working order
Maintain formulation records, trial logs and sample inventory
Prepare and dispatch client samples, and track what went where
Support sensory evaluation sessions and collate the panel's scores
Assist with incoming material checks and documentation as needed
What we're looking for
B.Sc, B.Tech or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Microbiology or a related discipline
Freshers are welcome — a solid final-year project or internship counts
Careful with measurement and genuinely reliable with records
Willing to be on the floor and in the lab; this is not a desk role
Eager to learn, and comfortable asking rather than guessing
