Role Description This is a full-time, in office Articled Assistant role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The Articled Assistant will support tax advisory and compliance work, including preparation and review of tax returns, assistance with tax planning, and drafting basic documentation and working papers. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and organizing client information, performing preliminary research on tax provisions and updates, and helping prepare reports and presentations for client meetings.



The role also involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating with team members on ongoing assignments, and adhering to timelines and regulatory requirements. The position offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to a variety of client engagements in direct and indirect taxation.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in accounting and taxation, with the ability to interpret financial statements and basic tax provisions.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with tax or accounting software.
Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills to support tax advisory and compliance work.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for drafting documentation, emails, and client notes.
High attention to detail, accuracy in data handling, and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with the team, manage deadlines, and maintain professional conduct with clients.
