Role Description

Job Description We are looking for a hands-on Test Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Playwright, PyTest, and Python, along with a practical, detail-oriented approach to ensuring software quality. Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Jenkins, Load Testing, and testing AI-enabled applications is preferred. This role involves contributing to test strategy, test execution, automation development, and continuous quality improvement. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, PyTest, and Python.
Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and release readiness activities.
Create and maintain test documentation, including test scenarios,



test data, and test reports.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.
Enhance test frameworks and promote automation best practices.
Work closely with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and quality assurance activities.
Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in both manual and automation testing.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Playwright
PyTest
Python
API testing
Good understanding of test design techniques, test execution, and defect management.
Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing.
Robust knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Ability to analyze requirements and create effective test scenarios and test cases.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Hands-on experience with Jira
