About the Role

Purple Samosa is looking for a creative and skilled Videographer & Video Editor to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate should be passionate about storytelling through video and capable of managing the entire video production process—from planning and shooting to editing and delivering high-quality content.

Key Responsibilities

1.Plan, shoot, and edit engaging videos for social media, marketing campaigns, events, and branded content.

2.Capture high-quality footage using professional cameras and equipment.

3.Edit videos with motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, color correction, and subtitles where required.

4.Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop compelling visual content.

5.Manage video files, equipment, and project timelines efficiently.

6.Stay updated with the latest social media trends and video editing techniques.

Required Skills

1.Proven experience in both videography and video editing.

2.Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.





3.Solid understanding of camera operations, lighting, audio recording, and composition.

4.Knowledge of color grading, motion graphics, and basic animation is a plus.

5.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

6.Strong creativity and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Media, Film, Mass Communication, or a related field (preferred).

1–3 years of relevant experience (freshers with an exceptional portfolio may also apply).

A portfolio or showreel demonstrating videography and editing skills is required.
