Role Description This is a full time, in office Video Editor role based in the Greater Chennai Area.

The Video

Editor will manage end-to-end post-production activities, including organizing raw footage, assembling sequences, and editing videos to align with creative briefs and brand guidelines. Daily tasks include trimming and refining clips, adding transitions, synchronizing audio, applying color corrections, and incorporating motion graphics or static graphics as needed. The role involves close collaboration with directors, producers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure all video assets meet quality standards and delivery timelines.

Editor will also help maintain file management best practices, optimize videos for various platforms,



and contribute ideas to improve overall visual storytelling.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production, including understanding of shot composition, basic lighting, and audio considerations.
- Candidates should possess advanced Video Editing skills, with proficiency in industry-standard editing software and timeline-based workflows.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Video Color Grading, including color correction, matching shots, and applying creative looks.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Motion Graphics and Graphics, such as creating titles, lower thirds, overlays, and simple animations.
- Relevant experience in social media, marketing, or branded video content is beneficial.
- Robust attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work on multiple projects in parallel.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and accept constructive feedback.
- Familiarity with video formats, codecs, export settings, and platform-specific delivery requirements.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing and visual design work is strongly preferred.
- A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Visual Communication, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
