Role Description This is a full time hybrid Video Editor role, with some work-from-home flexibility.

The Video

Editor will review, select, and assemble raw footage into polished videos that align with project objectives and brand guidelines. Daily responsibilities include editing video clips, applying transitions and effects, performing color correction and grading, and integrating sound, graphics, and motion elements. The role involves collaborating with directors, producers, and clients to understand creative briefs, maintain consistent visual style, and deliver content optimized for various platforms such as web, social media, and events.

Editor will also organize media assets, manage project timelines, and ensure final outputs meet technical specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including structuring narratives, pacing, and assembling sequences from raw footage.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to enhance visual tone, match shots,



and maintain consistent look and feel across projects.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, overlays, and simple animated elements that support storytelling.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Photoshop or equivalent).
- Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and understanding of composition, framing, and sound design.
- Ability to work collaboratively with creative and production teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in video and post-production.
- Familiarity with content formats for social media and digital platforms, and basic knowledge of file formats, codecs, and export settings.
