WE'RE HIRING | VIDEO EDITOR + CONTENT & CREATIVE ASSOCIATE

Alpha Knight Academy (AKA) is looking for a dynamic and skilled Video Editor + Content & Creative Associate to join our growing team.

This is a fully remote, full-time role for someone who enjoys creating content, learning new tools, experimenting with new workflows and taking ownership of projects from idea to execution.

? What You'll Work On

You will work across a wide range of content formats, including:

- Course and educational video editing
- YouTube long-form videos
- Instagram Reels & YouTube Shorts
- Educational/scientific content
- Social media creatives
- Thumbnails, covers and basic graphic designs
- Content repurposing across multiple platforms

?️ What We're Looking For

Video Editing — Required

- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve OR Adobe Premiere Pro
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
- Good understanding of video editing fundamentals
- Basic colour correction and colour grading
- Understanding and application of sound effects, audio cleanup and sound design
- Ability to create engaging edits with good pacing and storytelling
- Beginner to intermediate-level motion graphics skills

Design — Added Advantage
- Canva
- Basic Photoshop
- Figma
- Ability to create thumbnails, covers and simple social-media creatives

? AI & Modern Workflow

We strongly prefer candidates who are comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and other LLM-based tools to improve productivity.

You should be willing to learn how AI can be integrated into:

- Content planning
- Research
- Script development
- Editing workflows
- Repurposing content
- Creative ideation
- Automation and productivity

You don't need to be an AI expert. The ability and willingness to learn is what matters.

? Content Management Responsibilities The role will also involve:





- Maintaining the content calendar
- Planning and organizing content
- Organizing video footage and project files
- Managing content assets and folders
- Coordinating with the team
- Preparing content for different platforms
- Supporting thumbnails, covers and other creative requirements
- Helping improve and streamline our overall content-production workflow

? Eligibility

We are looking for

- Freshers with a strong portfolio, OR
- Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience

⚠️ PORTFOLIO IS MANDATORY.

? Role Details

Position: Video Editor + Content & Creative Associate

Company: Alpha Knight Academy

Work Mode:



Fully Remote — India

Preferred Location: Tamil Nadu

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Working Time: 7 hours/day

Compensation: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000/month, based on experience and portfolio

Salary: Negotiable within the stated range based on demonstrated skills and work quality

Working hours will be tracked and monitored as this is a full-time role.

? Selection Process

Portfolio → Shortlisting → Practical Editing Assignment → Interview → Selection

Shortlisted candidates will be given a practical editing assignment to evaluate actual editing ability, creativity, attention to detail and execution speed.

We are not looking for candidates who simply know how to operate editing software.

We are looking for someone who can think, create, learn and execute.
