Key Responsibilities

- Edit and produce high-quality, engaging long-form video content for YouTube as the primary focus, with occasional adaptation for Instagram and other platforms.
- Conceptualize and create visually compelling long-form videos that align with the creator's vision and hold viewer retention over extended runtimes.
- Build and integrate motion graphics to support storytelling — lower thirds, animated titles, transitions, callouts, and data/visual overlays.
- Keep up with current YouTube trends, formats, and audience expectations to create relatable, on-trend long-form content.
- Optimize video content and pacing specifically for YouTube's long-form format, including retention-focused editing and platform-specific best practices.
- Manage multiple long-form projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are consistently met without compromising quality.

What You'll Do





- Take raw footage and turn it into a compelling long-form final product aligned with the channel's vision.
- Edit primarily for YouTube long-form (with secondary adaptation to short-form/Reels as needed).
- Add motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects, along with transitions, lower thirds, color correction/grading, sound design, and audio mixing.
- Maintain consistency in style, pacing, and brand identity across long-form videos.
- Iterate based on feedback, making revisions quickly and efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience
- Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro, and strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics.
- Prior experience editing long-form YouTube content specifically (not just short-form/Reels).
- A robust grasp of storytelling, pacing, and viewer retention techniques for long-form video.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle tight deadlines.
- Experience editing for creators/influencers or YouTube channels preferred.
- Access to a reliable system (computer & storage) capable of handling high-resolution, long-form footage.
