FDES Technologies builds design automation software for manufacturers in 20+ countries: add-ins, configurators and drawing generators that turn days of repetitive CAD work into minutes. Demand for SolidWorks automation is growing faster than we can hire experienced developers, so we are training our own.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS A paid 12-week training programme at our Hyderabad office, then a place on a live project team.

- Weeks 1 to 12: C# and .NET, the SolidWorks API, the AutoCAD .NET API, macros and add-ins, Git. Classroom in the morning, hands-on exercises in the afternoon, a senior developer as your mentor.
- From week 6: shadow a live project and take small tickets.
- Week 12: practical assessment. On passing you join a project team as a CAD Automation Developer with a revised salary.
- Months 4 to 12: build automation for customers in the US, Europe and Asia.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AFTER TRAINING

- Build automation tools and add-ins on the SolidWorks API and AutoCAD .NET API in C#
- Turn design rules and engineering drawings into reliable code
- Generate parametric models, drawings and BOMs automatically
- Test against real drawings and fix what breaks





WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Completed SolidWorks and AutoCAD training from a recognised institute, or a college course with substantial CAD lab work. CSWA is a plus, not required.
- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Mechatronics or Design engineering
- 0 to 2 years of experience. 2025 and 2026 batches welcome.
- You can read a drawing and model it correctly in SolidWorks, and produce a clean 2D drawing in AutoCAD
- A logical mind. Any programming exposure (C, Python, VBA, MATLAB, SolidWorks macros) is a robust signal, but no coding is required to start
- Able to work from our Hyderabad office full-time

HOW WE HIRE

Written test (drawing reading, CAD concepts, logic), a 90-minute practical CAD task, and a technical interview, all at our Hyderabad office.
