Responsibilities

- Design and develop tooling concepts based on customer and production requirements.

- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software

- Design and modify jigs, fixtures, gauges, dies, and special tools for machining and assembly processes

- Tool design release for manufacturing

- Conduct tool feasibility studies and support process improvements

- Participating in the tool trails and initiating the necessary correction within the project timeline

- Coordinate with manufacturing, production, quality, and tool room teams during tool development and implementation

- Prepare and maintain design documentation, BOMs, engineering change records, and standard operating procedures.

- Support tool trials, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications





- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 1-3 years of experience in Tool Design.

- Post Graduate Diploma (PG Diploma) or Post Graduation in Tool Engineering with 0 to 3 years experience.

- Diploma in Mech/Post Diploma/Diploma in Tool Die Making in Tool Engineering with 0 to 3 years and above Experience in Tool Design

- Software Skill: Knowledge in Creo, SAP GDT Knowledge

- Location: Hosur
