Role Description The Social Media Manager role at Underscore is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. In this role, the Social Media Manager will plan, create, and manage content across social media platforms, ensuring alignment with client brand identities and marketing objectives. Responsibilities include developing and executing social media strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and preparing regular reports. The Social Media Manager will collaborate with design, content, and strategy teams, engage with online communities, respond to comments and messages, and stay current with platform trends and best practices. The role also involves coordinating with clients to understand their goals and translating them into effective social media campaigns.

Strong social media marketing skills, including campaign planning, platform management, and audience engagement.
Effective communication abilities,



with clear written and verbal skills for client coordination and community interaction.
Experience in content strategy and writing to develop consistent, on-brand messaging and creative social media content.
Proficiency in social media optimization (SMO), including profile optimization, hashtag strategy, and performance tracking.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools and ability to interpret data to improve content and strategy.
Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals and current trends in major social platforms.
Ability to work collaboratively in a rapid-paced agency environment and manage multiple brand accounts.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in an agency or similar environment and basic knowledge of design and video formats is an advantage.
