Role Description The Junior Barista role is a full-time, on-site position based at our café in Kochi. The person in this role will prepare and serve traditional Indian coffee and other beverages, follow standardized recipes, and assist with basic food preparation. Daily responsibilities include welcoming guests, taking orders, handling payments, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace, including equipment cleaning and restocking supplies. The Junior Barista will also support senior team members,



learn brewing techniques, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and contribute to creating a friendly, inclusive workplace for all guests.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess barista skills and basic coffee and beverage preparation knowledge.
Candidates should possess customer service skills and interpersonal skills to interact positively with guests.
Candidates should possess clear communication skills to take orders, explain menu items, and coordinate with team members.
Candidates should possess food preparation skills and awareness of hygiene and safety practices.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Prior café or hospitality experience is an advantage but not mandatory for motivated learners.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
