Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tender &

- Estimation Engineer based in Bengaluru East. The role involves preparing accurate quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ), developing detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects, and contributing to tender preparation and bid submissions. The Tender &
- Estimation Engineer will analyze project drawings, specifications, and technical documents, conduct market research on materials and services, and coordinate with internal teams such as engineering, planning, and procurement.



Day-to-day responsibilities also include evaluating vendor quotations, supporting negotiations to ensure competitive pricing, and maintaining estimation records and cost databases to improve future tenders. The role requires close collaboration with project stakeholders to align estimates with technical requirements, timelines, and client expectations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in BOQ preparation and project estimation.
- Candidates should possess solid civil engineering knowledge and understanding of construction methodologies.
- Candidates should possess effective negotiation abilities for vendor and subcontractor interactions.
- Candidates should possess research skills for market analysis, cost benchmarking, and data validation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Prior experience in tendering, estimation, or quantity surveying for building and civil projects.
- Proficiency in estimation and MS Office tools; exposure to ERP or construction management software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills, with the ability to work accurately under project deadlines.
