Role Description The Tele Counsellor is responsible for engaging with prospective and existing students and their families via phone to provide information about courses, admission procedures, and class schedules. This on-site role, based in Varanasi, involves handling inbound and outbound calls, addressing inquiries, and guiding students toward suitable programs offered by Growth World Classes.

Counsellor maintains call records, follows up on leads, and supports admission targets by explaining academic offerings and value-added services. Daily tasks include coordinating with faculty and administration for updated information,



sharing feedback from students and parents, and ensuring a professional, empathetic, and student-centric counselling experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear telephonic communication, active listening, and the ability to explain academic programs in simple, understandable terms.
- Candidates should possess basic computer and data management skills, such as using call logs, maintaining spreadsheets or CRM tools, and handling online inquiry forms.
- Candidates should possess customer service and counselling skills, including empathy, patience, problem-solving abilities, and a student-focused mindset.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple calls, follow up on leads consistently, and meet daily and weekly outreach targets.
- Relevant qualifications such as a minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred, along with prior experience in tele counselling, student counselling, or education-related customer support.
