This position is integral to designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions on the Azure platform, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure services, automation, and cloud security best practices. They will collaborate closely with the IT team to support and enhance the cloud infrastructure.

Roles and responsibilities

- Develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions.
- Deploy and debug cloud stacks, ensuring reliability and security of the cloud infrastructure.
- Identify the most optimal cloud-based solutions for digital platforms and maintain infrastructure according to best practices and security policies.
- Understand and design solutions across hybrid, public, private, multi-cloud, and on-prem environments.
- Apply excellent troubleshooting skills and keep up-to-date with industry trends.
- Modify and improve existing systems.
- Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.

Technical experience & Professional attributes:

- Strong expertise in Azure Networking, Azure Security, Azure IaaS (Windows/Linux)



administration, Azure Monitoring Services, and Azure Defender.
- Extensive experience with drafting and implementing Azure Policies.
- Knowledge of Storage, Networking, and virtualization technologies like VMWare and Hyper-V.
- Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Ansible and PowerShell (mandatory), with additional skills in Python or comparable scripting tools.
- Experience with Azure Disaster Recovery (DR) and Resiliency planning.
- Preferred: Azure Certification AZ-305.
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (VPNs, DNS, load balancing, firewall management).
- Experience with database technologies including SQL, NoSQL, and Azure data services.
- Familiarity with Azure Local & AVS is an added advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder interaction at all organizational level

Education qualifications

Graduate in any discipline, with preference for Engineering graduates.

Additional Information

Preferred Azure Certification: AZ-305

Experience with Azure Local & Azure VMware Solution (AVS) is an added advantage.
