You will work across embedded systems, hardware enablement, kernels, device software, networking, and IoT technologies.
The position involves solving complex challenges involving performance, memory, power consumption, reliability, and connectivity across modern silicon architectures.
You will contribute high-quality software, collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams, and help deliver Linux across a broad range of hardware platforms.
Depending on your expertise, you may work on Ubuntu Core, kernel drivers, silicon optimisation, robotics, industrial IoT, networking, or hardware certification.

Accountabilities
Develop, integrate, maintain, and optimise Linux-based software for embedded, IoT, autonomous, and server-class devices.
Work with the latest Linux kernel technologies and open source projects to deliver reliable device software.
Build and maintain device-oriented software stacks and operating system images across Ubuntu Core, Desktop, and Server environments.
Optimise kernels, libraries, and system components for silicon-specific capabilities and hardware constraints.
Diagnose complex system issues, identify root causes, and deliver robust, maintainable fixes.
Contribute to areas such as kernel drivers, hardware enablement, silicon optimisation, networking, robotics, industrial IoT, and hardware certification
