Mission
We are looking for a Head of Sales & Business Development - India to take ownership of Consultport’s commercial growth in India. This person will be responsible for building and managing the sales team, growing the client base, developing the sales pipeline, closing deals, and driving revenue growth. The person will work closely with the CEO and global leadership team.
Responsibilities
Client Development & Sales
Define and execute the business development strategy for India
Own revenue generation and pipeline development across target client segments




Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers and clients
Lead commercial expansion and close client deals
Develop existing client relationships and drive repeat and expansion revenue
Commercial Ownership
Own India revenue targets and sales performance
Define sales targets, budgets, and commercial priorities
Track pipeline and performance and take action to ensure targets are achieved
Qualifications
6-10 years of experience in B2 B sales, business development, or commercial leadership
Experience selling to mid-sized and large companies, ideally enterprise clients
Experience in consulting, expert networks, qualified services, recruiting/staffing, contracting, or B2 B platforms
Proven experience building and scaling a sales function, market, or business
Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on in sales and business development
Proven track record of owning revenue targets and closing new business
