Role PurposeFor our client, a global pharmaceutical company, we are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to own technical delivery of the Digital Workplace Modernisation initiative, part of a wider Workplace Modernisation Program. The initiative covers endpoint management (Intune), SCCM decommissioning, VDI redesign, mobile device management and password less authentication.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Digital Workplace Project Lead, workstream specialists, and the Enterprise Architecture and Security & Compliance teams to ensure consistent, well-integrated technical delivery across all workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

- Own technical architecture and design decisions across all Digital Workplace workstreams (Intune Autopatch, Device Policy Mgt Transition, Windows 365/VDI Redesign, AutoPilot Switch & SCCM Decommission, Intune Mobile Device Mgt, Mobile Threat Defence, Windows Hello).
- Provide hands-on technical direction to workstream specialists and internal Workplace Engineers.
- Own technical risk and dependency management across the initiative.
- Validate technical exit criteria at each workstream's Discovery, Pilot and Rollout phase gates.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point to the Enterprise Architect and Security & Compliance Lead.




- Maintain technical documentation and support handover to internal teams at program close.
- Support the Project Lead with technical input for status reporting and stakeholder updates.

Required Qualifications

- Enterprise-scale, hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (MDM, MAM, Autopatch, Autopilot).
- Experience decommissioning SCCM/Configuration Manager in favor of cloud-native device management.
- Windows 365 / Azure Virtual Desktop architecture and delivery experience.
- Windows Hello for Business / Microsoft Entra ID password less authentication experience.
- Mobile Device Management and Mobile Threat Defence platform experience.
- Experience leading technical delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams and specialists in a staff-augmentation delivery model.
- Solid stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. Endpoint Administrator Associate, Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty, or successor certifications).
- Experience with AI-assisted endpoint tooling.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
