Role Description The Transport Logistics Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating daily transportation operations for milk products and cold storage goods, including vehicle scheduling, route planning, and load optimization.

The Transport Logistics

Manager monitors delivery timelines, tracks shipments, and resolves any transportation issues to ensure timely and safe delivery. The role includes supervising drivers and support staff, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and collaborating with warehouse and customer service teams.

Manager also analyzes operational data, manages vendor relationships,



and supports continuous improvement in cost efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in logistics and transportation management, including route planning, fleet coordination, and cold chain operations.
- Strong skills in operations planning, resource allocation, and process optimization within a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Ability to supervise and guide on-site teams, including drivers and support staff, with a focus on safety, compliance, and performance.
- Proficiency in using logistics or transportation management systems, basic MS Office tools, and digital tracking solutions.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and capability to respond quickly to operational disruptions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners.
- Relevant experience in freight, dairy, or cold storage transportation; experience in Pune or nearby regions is an advantage.
- Preferably a bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
