About the Role

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own sourcing and screening across multiple product and technology mandates from high-growth startups.

You’ll typically work across 4–5 active roles at a time, mapping the market, sourcing candidates, screening them, pitching opportunities, and converting the strongest candidates into Profound assessment calls.

This is a hands-on recruiting role. You should be comfortable sourcing from scratch, understanding technical requirements, speaking with passive candidates, and managing your own funnel end to end.

You’ll work closely with the founding team and report directly to the CEO.

What You’ll Own

- End-to-end sourcing: Own the funnel from talent mapping and outbound sourcing to screened candidates across 4–5 concurrent mandates.
- Outbound candidate discovery: Use LinkedIn, Boolean search, AI sourcing platforms,



and other tools to find strong product and engineering talent.
- Candidate screening: Evaluate profiles against role requirements and conduct initial screening conversations.
- Candidate pitch & conversion: Pitch the company, role, and Profound effectively to passive candidates and convert them into assessment calls.
- Technical fit assessment: Understand technology stacks well enough to evaluate whether a candidate is genuinely relevant beyond keyword matching.
- Market mapping: Build strong knowledge of the India startup ecosystem and know where high-quality PMs and engineers are likely to come from.
- Mandate management: Quickly understand each company’s product, funding, team, role, and hiring context so you can represent the opportunity credibly.
- Pipeline reporting: Keep the founding team updated on candidate progress, funnel health, blockers, and next steps.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If

- You have hands-on experience sourcing for product and technology roles.
- You have owned outbound recruiting rather than relying primarily on inbound applications or agencies.
- You have recruited in a startup setting, ideally Seed to Series A.
- You are strong with Boolean search and modern sourcing tools such as Juicebox, LinkedIn Recruiter, or equivalent platforms.
- You understand common engineering and product tech stacks well enough to make credible fit assessments.
- You have strong knowledge of the Bengaluru startup ecosystem.
- You are comfortable pitching opportunities to passive candidates over calls.
- You can manage multiple roles simultaneously without losing track of follow-ups.
- You operate independently, communicate blockers early, and have strong ownership.
