About the Role

Skytec India is hiring a Support SDE for LocateOS, a cloud-based SaaS platform for utility field operations built for a US-based client. The platform includes a React Native mobile app, a Next.js web dashboard, and a Python backend on Microsoft Azure.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on production support: triaging bugs reported by end users, diagnosing issues across the mobile app, web dashboard, backend, and database, shipping fixes, and verifying them in production.

Key Responsibilities

- Triage, reproduce, and resolve bug reports from end users.
- Debug issues end-to-end across the stack: mobile app, web dashboard, APIs, and databases.
- Query and safely correct production data (SQL and MongoDB).
- Verify fixes are deployed and working in production.
- Support mobile app builds and releases (TestFlight / App Store).
- Handle user administration: accounts, roles, and SSO login issues.
- Monitor system health and data feeds; escalate and document incidents.




- Maintain support documentation and runbooks.
- Provide support coverage overlapping with US business hours.

Required Qualifications

- 2+ years of software development or support engineering experience.
- Strong SQL skills; comfortable working with production databases.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React / React Native / Next.js.
- Experience debugging REST APIs (Postman/curl, logs, request tracing).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (Function Apps, Blob Storage, Azure AD).
- Excellent written English communication.
- Willingness to overlap with US time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

React Native and App Store release experience.

MongoDB experience.

Exposure to OAuth2/OIDC and Microsoft SSO.

Prior experience supporting US or international clients.
