Role Description The Storekeeper Restaurant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming deliveries, ensuring that goods meet quality and quantity standards. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and maintaining the storage area, performing packing of items as required, and implementing inventory management procedures to track stock levels and minimize waste.





The role involves issuing supplies to kitchen and service teams, updating inventory records, and coordinating with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely availability of materials. The Storekeeper also follows safety and hygiene protocols, operates material-handling equipment where authorized, and supports regular stock audits and reconciliations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong inventory control and inventory management skills, including stock tracking, record keeping, and conducting regular stock checks.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in packing and unloading, ensuring safe handling, proper labeling, and organized storage of supplies.
- Candidates should possess basic material-handling abilities, including safe forklift operation or other equipment use, where licensing and training are applicable.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or warehouse storekeeping role is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment in Gurugram, with positive physical stamina and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, basic computer literacy for inventory systems, and the ability to follow safety and hygiene standards.
- Relevant vocational training or certification in inventory management, warehousing, or material handling is an advantage.
