Role Description The Insurance Advisor role at LIC is a full time, hybrid position based in Bardoli, with flexibility for some work-from-home activities. On a day-to-day basis, the Insurance Advisor will identify and approach potential clients, understand their financial protection needs, and recommend suitable life insurance and savings products. The role involves explaining policy features and benefits, helping clients with documentation, and ensuring timely issuance and servicing of policies.

Advisor will maintain ongoing relationships with policyholders, support claims and policy updates, and participate in regular training and meetings organized by LIC. The position also requires achieving sales targets, maintaining accurate records, and following regulatory and company guidelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge and interest in Insurance and basic Finance concepts.
- Candidates should possess Consulting and advisory skills to assess client needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to build long-term relationships and support policyholders effectively.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Additional qualifications such as a high school diploma or bachelor’s degree in any discipline are preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales and service targets.
- Comfort with using smartphones and basic digital tools for communication, documentation, and online training.
- Prior experience in sales, finance, or client-facing roles is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided.
