Job Summary (Sr. Software Engineer)

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems for the Zence platform.
- Build and own APIs, microservices, and data processing components at enterprise scale for BFSI and retail clients.
- Write clean, performant, production-grade code with strong unit and integration test coverage.
- Work in a up-to-date engineering environment leveraging AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, testing, and documentation.
- Follow clean architecture principles and domain-driven design (DDD) patterns for scalable system development.
- Optimize database queries, data models, and caching strategies for maximum performance.
- Develop event-driven systems to support high-throughput data processing across the platform.
- Integrate and maintain third-party APIs for enterprise banking and retail clients.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and best practices to ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, driving root cause analysis and implementing fixes.
- Implement observability through structured logging, monitoring, and tracing.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of features from development to production readiness.




- Leverage AI-assisted tools and prompt engineering to enhance personal and team productivity.
- Collaborate in AI-driven testing and automated code review processes.
- Support CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
- Manage containerized deployments and follow Git-based workflows and PR processes.
- Apply security best practices, including secure API design, authentication/authorization, and vulnerability prevention.
- Required Skills: C#, .NET 8/ASP.NET Core, Clean Architecture, DDD, SOLID, RESTful APIs, Microservices, PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server, Redis, Kafka/RedPanda, Azure, Docker, Git workflows, AI coding assistants (Copilot/Claude Code), Unit/Integration testing, OAuth 2.0, SSO.
- Preferred Skills: Razor Pages, gRPC, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, SAGA, CQRS, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS/GCP, Playwright, TDD, SAST/DAST.
- Qualifications: B.Tech/BE/MCA/M.Tech in Computer Science or related field; 4+ years of .NET backend experience with enterprise-scale applications; experience in SaaS, CRM, Travel, or loyalty/rewards platforms is a plus.
