Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and responsible Plant Electrician to handle electrical operations and maintenance of dairy plant equipment. The role involves working with PLC panels, MCC panels, PCC panels, and various electrical systems to ensure safe, uninterrupted plant operations across production, chilling, utilities, and packaging areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC control panels, sensors, and field instruments.
- Handle MCC (Motor Control Center) and PCC (Power Control Center) panels.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical motors, VFDs, starters, relays, contactors, and control circuits.
- Maintain electrical systems for milk processing machines, packaging lines, chillers, compressors, boilers, and utility equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Ensure proper earthing, cable management,



and panel housekeeping.
- Monitor power consumption and support energy efficiency initiatives.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and utility teams during shifts and shutdowns.
- Attend breakdowns promptly to minimize plant downtime.
- Follow electrical safety norms, SOPs, and statutory compliance.
- Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and shift reports.

Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of PLC panels (basic troubleshooting).
- Hands-on experience with MCC, PCC, APFC, and VFD panels.
- Knowledge of industrial wiring, motor control, and power distribution.
- Familiarity with sensors, limit switches, proximity sensors, and control instruments.
- Understanding of electrical safety, lockout-tagout (LOTO), and PPE usage.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.

Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical (mandatory).
- 2-5 years experience as a Plant Electrician (Dairy / Food
