Job Title: Purchase Executive
Location: Pune Chakan
Experience:2-3 years of experience as a Purchase Executive in a manufacturing plant

Position Summary:
The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring raw materials, components, consumables, and services required for the smooth functioning of the manufacturing plant. Experience in a manufacturing setup is essential; exposure to the solar industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate vendors for raw materials, components, consumables, and services
- Raise Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) as per approved requirements
- Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers
- Ensure timely procurement to support uninterrupted production activities
- Coordinate with production, stores, quality, and finance teams
- Maintain vendor records, purchase data, and documentation
- Track order status,



follow up on deliveries, and resolve supply issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases accordingly
- Handle supplier performance evaluation and cost optimization initiatives
- Participate in internal and external audits related to procurement and inventory
- Ensure inventory accuracy and support physical stock verification

Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience as a Purchase Executive in a manufacturing plant:
- Robust negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control, and basic costing
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems.
- Good communication and coordination skills
