ICU Nurse Responsibilities and Duties:
- Continuously assess, monitor, and document patient vital signs and overall condition.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous infusions, including titration of critical drips.
- Operate and monitor life-support equipment such as ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and perform necessary interventions.
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and provide emotional support.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
