What you will be doing:
Backlog Ownership: Own and maintain the product backlog for the assigned Scrum squad, ensuring it is well‑groomed and aligned with user and stakeholder needs.
- Story Definition: Create transparent user stories with well‑defined acceptance criteria and provide ongoing clarification to the development team.
- Prioritization: Prioritize backlog items based on business value, customer feedback, and strategic direction from the Product Head and Senior Product Owner.
- Scrum Collaboration:
Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies and support the team during sprint planning and execution.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Gather feedback from stakeholders and users, incorporating insights into the backlog and maintaining transparency on progress and goals.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the Senior Product Owner and Product Head to support the product strategy, roadmap, and overall direction.
- Customer & Process Focus: Build deep customer understanding, assist with product documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of team processes.
What we are looking for from you:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, IT) or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Miro)
- Experience with wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
- 1-3 years of experience in a Business Analyst, or other relevant business role with exposure to software dev
