Job Title: Sr. Principal PHP Engineer

Overlap till 1 pm EST "Our preference for this role is that the developer be available from 7:00 AM EST to 12:00 PM EST (end time is flexible), to ensure overlap with our team. Outside of those hours, the schedule is at the developer's discretion, provided they give us advance notice of their availability. The requirements and for this role remain unchanged from the previous version." Responsibilities:

- Optimize and deliver new features on PHP8 based CRM application - Help identify and remediate issues including refactoring complex SQL/Stored Procedures.
- Work with large database schemas that would include adding and updating tables and rows using MS SQL Server - Write Unit tests and Documentation - Work in an agile environment (2 week cadence) with internal Product Managers and Designers - Coordinate with Business Operations staff, QA, Application Support, and DevOps teams to triage bugs

Requirements

- 7-10 years of professional experience developing web-based & cli-based applications in PHP frameworks.
- Professional experience using open-source PHP (Symfony and its components and/or API Platform,



or heavy design pattern PHP framework) - Experience scaling in LAMP: Leveraging Redis, RabbitMQ, and SupervisorD - Experience leveraging APMs such as DataDog to isolate performance bottlenecks - Solid understanding of Git concepts such as branching, merging, pull requests and conflict resolution utilizing Bitbucket or Github
- Comfortable on Linux, command line, SSH, SFTP, SCP…

Nice to have

- Experience designing fault tolerant architecture on cloud deployments - Experienced in leveraging issue tracking systems and wikis for documentation (Jira/Confluence) - Exposure to Azure/AWS/GCP PaaS - Crafting architecture diagrams in Visio or LucidChart
