About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Salesforce Agentforce Senior Developer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered agents on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in Salesforce core clouds (Sales & Service), strong custom development skills (Apex, LWC, Integrations), and emerging experience with Agentforce, Prompt Builder, Einstein Copilot, and Data Cloud to deliver intelligent, autonomous experiences for our clients.

This role is suited for a developer who wants to be at the forefront of Salesforce's AI transformation — building agents that automate workflows, augment human users, and drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Agentforce & AI Development

- Design, build, and deploy custom Agentforce agents using Agent Builder, including topics, actions, and instructions.
- Develop custom Agent Actions using Apex, Flow, and Prompt Templates to extend agent capabilities.
- Build and tune Prompt Templates in Prompt Builder for grounded, context-aware AI responses.
- Implement Einstein Trust Layer controls — data masking, toxicity detection, and audit logging.
- Integrate agents with Data Cloud for grounding, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and unified customer profiles.
- Configure and test Atlas Reasoning Engine behavior, agent handoffs, and escalation paths to human users.
- Evaluate agent performance, conduct prompt tuning, and iterate based on user feedback and analytics.

Sales Cloud & Service Cloud Development

- Design and implement solutions on Sales Cloud — Leads, Opportunities, Forecasting, CPQ basics, Sales Engagement.
- Build and customize Service Cloud capabilities — Cases, Omni-Channel, Knowledge, Entitlements, Milestones, Service Console.
- Configure case routing, escalation rules, assignment rules, and SLAs aligned with business processes.
- Implement Service Cloud Voice, Digital Engagement (chat, messaging), and self-service portals where applicable.

Custom Development

- Develop high-quality Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, queueable, scheduled, and future methods following best practices (bulkification, trigger frameworks,



governor limits).
- Build responsive, reusable Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components for custom user experiences.
- Design and develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, Named Credentials, and External Services.
- Work with MuleSoft or other middleware platforms for enterprise integrations with ERP, marketing automation, telephony, and data platforms.
- Write robust unit tests with high code coverage and meaningful assertions; participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.

Solution Design & Delivery

- Collaborate with Architects, Functional Consultants, and Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical designs.
- Contribute to technical design documents, integration specifications, and data models.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Own deployments through SFDX, Git, and CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, or Azure DevOps).
- Mentor junior developers and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions on Agentforce and Salesforce best practices.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Experience

- 6 – 8 years of total Salesforce development experience.
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering at least 2 end-to-end Salesforce implementations as a developer or senior developer.

Salesforce Core Clouds (Mandatory)

- Strong hands-on experience with Sales Cloud — Lead/Opportunity management, forecasting, sales processes, automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Service Cloud — Case management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge, Service Console, Entitlements.

Custom Development (Mandatory)

- Expert-level Apex — classes, triggers, trigger frameworks, asynchronous Apex (Batch, Queueable, Scheduled, Future).
- Strong Lightning Web Components (LWC) development; Aura experience is a plus.
- Proven integration experience — REST/SOAP APIs, Apex callouts,



Platform Events, Named Credentials, OAuth flows.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce security model — profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, OWD, field-level security.
- Experience with SOQL/SOSL optimization, governor limits, and large data volume considerations.

Agentforce / AI (Mandatory or Strong Plus)

- Hands-on experience with Agentforce / Agent Builder OR demonstrable experience with Einstein Copilot, Prompt Builder, or Einstein GPT.
- Understanding of Data Cloud concepts — data streams, identity resolution, calculated insights, segmentation.
- Familiarity with Einstein Trust Layer, prompt engineering, and grounding techniques (RAG).

Tools & DevOps

- Proficiency with SFDX, VS Code, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Flosum, or Azure DevOps).
- Experience with change set, unlocked packages, or 2GP for deployments.

Certifications (Preferred)

- Salesforce Platform Developer I (Mandatory)
- Salesforce Platform Developer II (Strong Plus)
- Salesforce Administrator
- Agentforce Specialist or AI Associate / AI Specialist (Strong Plus)
- Sales Cloud Consultant / Service Cloud Consultant (Plus)
- Application Architect or System Architect track (Plus)

Positive to Have

- Experience with Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or CPQ.
- Exposure to MuleSoft, Snowflake, or AWS/Azure in a Salesforce integration context.
- Knowledge of Flow Builder, OmniStudio, or Industry Clouds (FSC, Health Cloud, Communications Cloud).
- Experience with prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, or conversational AI outside Salesforce.
- Familiarity with Apex Enterprise Patterns (fflib) or domain-driven design.

Soft Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to interact with clients and business stakeholders.
- Self-driven, with a passion for staying current on Salesforce's three-times-a-year release cycle and AI roadmap.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to practice-building initiatives.
- Comfortable working in Agile / hybrid delivery models with onshore-offshore teams.

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
