We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sr. Engineer in the HVAC Department. The ideal candidate must be a Mechanical Engineer with good understanding in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) Concepts. Also, the candidate must have good grasping skills and should be comfortable to work as a team.

Responsibilities

- Lead HVAC design and engineering for pharmaceutical, biotech, injectable, OSD and cleanroom facilities.
- Develop HVAC design basis, heat-load calculations, psychrometric analysis, AHU sizing, air balancing, pressure cascade and zoning philosophy.
- Lead preparation and review of HVAC layouts, ducting layouts, schematics, P&IDs;, equipment schedules and BOQs.
- Ensure HVAC systems meet GMP, contamination-control and cleanroom requirements, including temperature, RH, ACH, filtration and pressure differentials.
- Manage HVAC engineering from conceptual design through detailed engineering, execution, commissioning and qualification.
- Coordinate closely with Process, Architecture, Electrical, Automation/BMS, Plumbing and Civil/Structural teams.
- Review and approve vendor technical offers, equipment datasheets, GA drawings and shop drawings.
- Lead technical discussions with clients,



vendors and contractors and resolve design/site issues.
- Review project deliverables and ensure compliance with EU GMP, US FDA, WHO GMP, ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC and applicable client standards.
- Guide and mentor junior HVAC engineers and manage HVAC deliverables, timelines and design quality.
- Support FAT/SAT, TAB, commissioning, DQ/IQ/OQ and qualification activities.

Desired Skills

- Strong expertise in pharmaceutical cleanroom HVAC and GMP facility design.
- Excellent knowledge of heat-load calculations, psychrometrics, AHU/FCU selection, chilled-water systems, duct design, HEPA filtration and cleanroom pressure cascades.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP; knowledge of HVAC calculation/design software is an advantage.
- Robust multidisciplinary coordination and project-management skills.
- Ability to independently lead HVAC engineering for multiple pharma projects.
- Excellent technical communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Experience

- 7-15 Years of experience in HVAC Design
- Previous experience in Pharmaceutical Engineering Design Consultancy is preferred.
