Role Description The Speech Therapist for MTV Goa will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals experiencing speech, language, and communication disorders in an on-site setting in Panaji. This full-time role involves conducting individualized therapy sessions, creating and updating treatment plans, and maintaining accurate clinical records.

The Speech

Therapist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care and effective intervention strategies.

Responsibilities also include educating families about therapy goals, monitoring progress,



and participating in outreach or awareness activities related to communication and swallowing difficulties. The role requires a strong commitment to serving underprivileged and marginalized communities in alignment with The Hans Foundation’s mission.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Speech Therapy, including assessment and intervention across age groups.
- Solid understanding of Speech and Language Disorders, with the ability to design individualized treatment plans.
- Experience working with Communication Disorders, supporting clients with articulation, fluency, and voice difficulties.
- Knowledge and clinical experience in managing Dysphagia, including assessment and therapeutic approaches for swallowing disorders.
- Recognized degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from an accredited institution; relevant professional registration or license as applicable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Sensitivity to diverse social and cultural backgrounds and a strong commitment to working with underprivileged communities.
- Organizational skills for maintaining accurate documentation and managing caseloads; basic computer literacy for record-keeping and reporting.
