Position: Speech-Language Pathologist / Speech Therapist

Qualification

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech and Hearing (BASLP / MASLP or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Valid Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) registration is preferred/required as applicable to the role.
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.

Experience
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Experience in a hospital, psychiatric setting, rehabilitation centre, child development centre, or multidisciplinary clinical setting will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments as applicable.
- Identify communication and speech-language difficulties and develop appropriate therapy plans.
- Provide individual speech and language therapy sessions based on patient needs.
- Work with patients with developmental, neurological, psychiatric, cognitive, or communication-related difficulties.
- Conduct articulation, language, fluency, voice, and communication interventions as clinically appropriate.
- Provide caregiver counselling and educate families regarding home-based communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate assessment reports, therapy notes, progress records, and other clinical documentation.




- Monitor patient progress and modify therapy goals based on clinical requirements.
- Coordinate with psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to individualized treatment and rehabilitation planning.
- Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, documentation standards, and patient-safety requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards while handling patient information.
