Position Overview:
The Assistant Professor in Medical-Surgical Nursing will be responsible for teaching, guiding, and mentoring nursing students in both theoretical and clinical settings. This role involves delivering high-quality education in the field of medical-surgical nursing, conducting research, participating in academic committees, and providing service to the academic institution and the community. The Assistant Professor will be expected to contribute to the development of nursing programs and stay updated with the latest clinical practices and educational strategies in the field of medical-surgical nursing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Instruction:
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and clinical sessions in medical-surgical nursing.
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate students in nursing programs, focusing on medical-surgical topics.




- Utilize various teaching methods such as case studies, simulations, and problem-based learning to enhance student learning.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students in clinical settings, ensuring they meet the required competencies.
- Evaluate and grade student performance on theoretical and clinical coursework.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical-surgical nursing and integrate current practices and research into the curriculum.
- Research and Scholarship:
