We are seeking an experienced Wind Resource Assessor for our wind energy projects in India.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Support recent units and services proposals by performing wind resource, annual energy production, turbine layout optimisation and noise propagation assessments
- Contribute to enhancing WRA methods for speed, productivity and accuracy. Explore methods that utilise mesoscale models to enable improved assessments of past and future site production and extended turbine life
- Translate measured wind conditions to wind resource characterisations and generate input conditions to enable mechanical loads assessments. Develop solutions to increase customer value
- Perform statistical wind modelling, determine energy yield production and estimate site climate
- Develop and optimise wind turbine layouts based on conformance with standards, power production and construction considerations




- Verify wind turbine design life through load calculations
- Conduct technical reviews with regards to site climate, AEP, turbine layout and proposed wind turbines
- Lead the continuous improvement initiatives based on market trends
- Develop team’s competencies by mentoring and training them

Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in the same role
- Feasibility study
- Site analysis
- Analysis and interpretation of wind speed data
- Modelling uncertainties in WRA
- Calculation of predicted wind farm output and layout optimisation and prediction tools
- Energy production calculations

Location
- Job location for the above position is in India, with requirements for travel to various Cleantech Solar sites and locations across different states in India
