Regional Distribution Planner

Purpose
Ensure that the packaging availability in the Packaging Pool corresponds to customer needs and user contracts (order level).

Responsibilities
- Initial distribution planning
- Create STO (Stock Transport Order)
- Create Deliveries
- Communication of undeliverable
- Move STO (Change Dispatching Plant)
- Change Planed Delivery Date
- Making sure that the planning is carried out in accordance with the Planning procedure and make necessary rearrangements
- Ensure packaging availability.
- Distributing volumes based on cost-effective, environmentally friendly and service-minded requirements, i.e., comparing incoming orders with available packaging and give directives to concerned processes
- When necessary, affecting delegated purchasing transports in accordance with the delegated purchasing procedure
- Main contact with terminals and depots
- Prioritizing sorting and washing in agreement with the terminals.
- If necessary, altering orders,



volumes of orders and delivery days in agreement with the responsible Area Coordinator.
- Set inventory frequency for terminals and depots
- Contributing to streamlining and cost minimization of the whole distribution system and actively contribute to Operational Development (OD)
- Work according to the investment process

Authorities
Ensure short term packaging availability and optimize order distribution in a cost-productive way. Decide loading site and approve or reject request for supplier self-collections. Postpone, adjust, or reduce orders if needed.

Competence
- Holistic and analytical mind-set.
- Target oriented and an overall high knowledge in logistic to ensure efficient planning.
- Highly skilled in prioritizing and performing under pressure.
- Ability to initiate and drive work both independently and with the team.
