The centre offers behaviour therapy, autism intervention support, parent training and guidance, emotional and social skills development, and individualized child-focused programs. Therapeutic work is grounded in structured behavioural principles inspired by scientifically validated approaches, including methods derived from Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), with strong emphasis on ethics and professional standards. Led by a behaviour therapy professional with a solid academic background in counselling psychology and behavioural interventions, the centre prioritizes measurable progress, realistic goals, and transparent communication with families. The centre is located in Hyderabad and promotes collaborative work between therapist, child, and family.

Role Description The Special Education Specialist will provide individualized educational and behavioural support to children with neurodevelopmental and emotional challenges in an on-site setting in Hyderabad. This full-time role involves assessing learner needs, designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and integrating behavioural strategies aligned with ABA-informed principles. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and small group sessions, supporting skill development in academics, social communication, and daily living, and tracking progress through structured observation and documentation.





The specialist will collaborate closely with behaviour therapists, psychologists, and families, participate in parent training and guidance sessions, and contribute to multidisciplinary treatment planning. The role also includes maintaining ethical and professional standards, preparing reports, and engaging in regular team meetings and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Special Education and Education, including experience designing and implementing individualized learning plans for children with diverse needs.
- Candidates should possess skills in Applied Behavior Analysis or ABA-informed practices, with the ability to integrate behavioural principles into educational interventions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear documentation, team-oriented teamwork, and effective interaction with children and families.
- Candidates should possess demonstrated experience Working With Children, especially those with developmental, behavioural, or emotional challenges in clinical or school-based settings.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field are preferred.
- Additional certifications or training in ABA, counselling, or developmental disorders, and familiarity with autism intervention programs, are beneficial.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries, uphold ethical standards, and work in a structured, goal-oriented environment is essential.
- Strong observational, record-keeping, and time-management skills, and willingness to engage in continuous learning and supervision are highly valued.
