Your Role at a Glance The Software Engineer II is a pivotal member of the Digital Enablement team, responsible for designing, developing, administering, and optimizing Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives. This role combines technical development, system administration, and strategic solution engineering to enhance our Salesforce platform's functionality and efficiency.

How You’ll Drive Success

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and test software to resolve defects and implement user stories.
- Continuously work to develop a deep expertise in Mastercam’s critical business processes.
- Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement necessary updates to maintain optimal functionality.
- Proactively coordinate with other engineers to decide how best to implement requested changes.
- Conduct code and/or technical reviews, sharing experiences and knowledge with others as appropriate.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes for software development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

The Talents We’re Seeking

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I, II, or Salesforce Administrator certifications a plus.
- 4 - 5 years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform.
- Proficiency in declarative development such as fields, objects, flows, permissions.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data modeling, and best practices.
- Experience with standard software development practices such as source control, peer reviews, and unit testing.
- Experience with agile software development.
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud required. Revenue Cloud a plus.
