About Nakshra
Nakshra is a spiritual wellness company building a modern home for astrology, tarot, and holistic living. We offer personalised astrology and tarot readings, spiritual counselling, and online workshops — and we're pairing that with an e-commerce platform for crystals, tarot decks, books, and wellness products.
We're a young company at an early stage, which means the people who join now help shape how the product actually works.
The Role
We're looking for software engineers to build and maintain our web and mobile platforms. This is a remote, paid, part-time role with flexible hours — a good fit if you're working alongside a full-time job, freelancing, or finishing your degree.
What you'll work on
- Building and shipping features across our website and mobile app
- Developing our e-commerce experience: product catalogue, cart, secure payments, order tracking
- Building booking and scheduling flows for readings, counselling sessions, and workshops
- Integrating third-party services (payment gateways, messaging, analytics)
- Keeping the platform fast, secure, and reliable as we grow
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience building web applications and/or mobile apps
- Comfort with a up-to-date stack — for example React/Next.js, Node.js, React Native or Flutter, and a database like PostgreSQL or MongoDB
- Ability to take a feature from idea to production with limited hand-holding
- Clear written communication and reliability on deadlines — we work asynchronously
- Bonus: experience with e-commerce platforms, payment integrations, or booking systems
Experience matters more to us than degrees. If you've built and shipped real things, we want to see them.
