Location: Remote Type: Internship, Unpaid Duration: 3 months (extendable based on performance) Reports to:Founder & CEO
About YaariYaari is a social dining and experiences platform built to help people make real, in-person connections over food and shared moments — not another dating app. We're pre-launch and building out our brand presence across Delhi NCR before rollout, with a rapid, scrappy, founder-led team.
About the RoleWe're looking for a social media intern who lives and breathes Instagram, Reels, and short-form video culture. You'll help shape Yaari's voice as we build hype ahead of launch — working closely with the founder on content calendars, caption writing, trend-spotting, and community engagement.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real ownership, not busywork. You'll see your ideas go live and directly move the needle on a startup's early growth.
What You'll Do
- Plan and maintain a content calendar across Instagram (and other relevant platforms)
- Write sharp, short, energetic captions in English (no Hindi copy)
- Spot and adapt trending formats, audio, and meme culture for the Yaari brand
- Support UGC-style and influencer content coordination
- Monitor comments/DMs and engage with our early community
- Track basic performance metrics (reach, engagement,
follower growth) and report weekly
- Assist with brainstorming campaign ideas for our pre-launch push in Delhi NCR
What We're Looking For
- Genuinely online — you know what's trending before it trends
- Strong written English with a knack for short-form, punchy copy
- Comfortable with Instagram/Reels-native content (basic editing skills a plus — CapCut, InShot, etc.)
- Self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines remotely
- Based in or familiar with the Delhi NCR social/lifestyle scene is a plus, not mandatory
- Currently a student or recent grad interested in marketing, media, or brand building
What You'll Get
- Direct mentorship from the founder and real exposure to 0-to-1 startup building
- A letter of recommendation/certificate on successful completion
- Portfolio-ready work — real campaigns, real audience, real results
- Potential to convert into a paid role as Yaari scales post-launch
- Flexible, remote working hours
How to Apply
- Send your resume and 2–3 examples of content you've created or admire (Instagram links, reels, or a portfolio) to
[email protected] with the subject line "Social Media Intern — [Your Name]".
