Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities, ensuring work is executed according to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

The Site

Supervisor coordinates with engineers, contractors, and labor teams, monitors material usage, and maintains accurate site documentation and daily progress reports. The role includes conducting site inspections, resolving operational issues, enforcing safety and quality protocols, and supporting project managers with status updates and resource planning.

Supervisor also liaises with clients and vendors as needed to support smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and site supervision methods.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, project plans, and specifications.
- Experience in monitoring site operations, coordinating workforce and materials, and maintaining project schedules.
- Understanding of safety regulations, quality control standards, and compliance requirements on construction sites.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients.
- Positive documentation and reporting skills, including maintaining logs, preparing progress reports, and using basic office software.
- Ability to solve practical problems on-site, make timely decisions, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Prior experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in civil construction projects, preferably in urban environments.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Willingness to work in office in Mumbai, with flexibility for extended hours based on project needs.
