Role Description This Site Civil Engineer internship is a hybrid role based in Chandigarh, with primary work on project sites and some flexibility for work-from-home tasks. The intern will support daily site supervision activities, including monitoring construction progress, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety practices.

Responsibilities include assisting in planning and scheduling, reviewing BOQs, supporting quantity estimation, and documenting site reports and measurements. The intern will help in checking civil works quality,



resolving minor site issues under guidance, and collaborating with senior engineers on civil design inputs, stormwater and drainage layouts, and infrastructure-related tasks. The role also involves preparing basic drawings, updating project documentation, and communicating project status to the project management team.

Qualifications

- Solid understanding of Civil Engineering fundamentals with exposure to Civil Engineering Design and basic Civil Engineering software tools.
- Interest in site-based work and readiness to learn from experienced Civil Engineers in planning, supervision, and on-ground execution.
- Ability to assist in Planning activities, including scheduling, resource tracking, and coordination with site teams.
- Foundational knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage systems, and related infrastructure components.
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and documentation.
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting tools; familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word) for reports and quantities.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on site and remotely.
- Willingness to travel locally to project sites in and around Chandigarh as required.
