Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Technician based in Mumbai.

The Senior

Technician will carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and automation systems, primarily in marine and industrial settings.

Responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, performing corrective and preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures. The role also involves interpreting technical drawings, coordinating with engineers and project managers, and preparing basic service reports and documentation.

The Senior

Technician will guide junior technicians,



support project execution on-site, and contribute to continuous improvement of service quality and reliability.

Qualifications

- Strong technical skills in electrical systems, automation panels, and control circuits, with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Hands-on experience in installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of marine or industrial electrical equipment.
- Solid understanding of safety standards, electrical regulations, and best practices for in office work, including use of appropriate tools and test instruments.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, provide guidance to junior technicians, and communicate clearly with supervisors and clients.
- ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or a related discipline; relevant experience in marine electrical or industrial automation environments is highly preferred.
- Willingness to work on ships, docks, or industrial sites as required, and flexibility to manage field assignments and extended hours when project needs demand.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation, reporting, and use of diagnostic software; familiarity with PLCs or automation systems is an added advantage.
