Role Description The Server Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing server infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability of systems. Day-to-day tasks include installing and configuring operating systems, managing databases, applying security patches, and performing routine health checks on servers. The role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues, as well as documenting configurations, changes, and procedures.

The Server





Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business applications, implement improvements, and assist in disaster recovery planning. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanpur.

Qualifications

- Strong troubleshooting skills for server, network, and application issues
- Experience working with databases and related administration tasks
- Hands-on experience with server infrastructure, including hardware and virtualization technologies
- Proficiency in operating systems management, including Windows server environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Knowledge of security best practices, backup strategies, and disaster recovery procedures
- Ability to document technical processes clearly and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
- Relevant industry certifications (such as Microsoft, VMware, or Linux) are an advantage
