Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Student Counsellor (Study Abroad) based in Tirur.

The Senior Student

Counsellor will provide individualized guidance to students on study abroad options, including country, university, and course selection aligned with academic background and career goals.

Responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, assessing student profiles, explaining application and visa processes, and supporting documentation for admissions and visas. The role involves coordinating with international universities and internal teams,



managing application timelines, and tracking student progress from inquiry to enrollment.

The Senior Student

Counsellor will also handle customer queries, deliver information sessions and workshops, maintain accurate records in CRM or related systems, and contribute to promotion of Ed-Hoc International’s services through student engagement activities.

Qualifications

- Counseling skills: candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide learners on suitable study abroad pathways.
- Interpersonal skills: candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with students, families, and institutional partners.
- Domain knowledge: candidates should possess solid understanding of Education systems, international universities, and study abroad processes across multiple countries.
- Additional beneficial skills: proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools, ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience and education: prior experience in overseas education consulting or academic counseling is highly preferred; a bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Management, or a related field is desirable.
- Other requirements: ability to work on-site in Tirur, willingness to conduct occasional events or outreach activities, and a commitment to ethical, student-centric advising.
