Security Awareness Trainer (GIC)
Location: Global In-House Center (GIC), Remote/Offshore

Job Summary The Security Awareness Trainer will execute KnowBe4 security awareness training and phishing simulations for ~2,000 employees, fostering a security-conscious culture. This role supports compliance (GDPR, NIST, SOX) by delivering training and generating reports, collaborating with the
Security Architect (campaign design), Incident Response Lead (phishing response), SOC Analysts
(Sentinel monitoring), and HR (employee onboarding). The trainer will correlate KnowBe4 phishing metrics with CrowdStrike Falcon Complete and Microsoft Defender (passive mode) endpoint alerts in
Azure Sentinel to identify training gaps linked to endpoint incidents. Tasks are tracked in Atlassian
Jira, and configurations are documented in Confluence. The ideal candidate has experience in security awareness programs, strong communication skills, Microsoft integrations, and Atlassian tools.
Responsibilities
KnowBe4 Operations:
o Deploy training modules and phishing simulations via KnowBe4 for ~4,000 employees.
o Manage user enrollment, track completion rates, and analyze phishing click rates.
o Integrate KnowBe4 phishing logs with Azure Sentinel for correlation with
Falcon/Defender endpoint alerts.
Compliance &
- Reporting:
o Support GDPR/NIST/SOX training requirements through tailored campaigns.
o Generate compliance reports and dashboards for training metrics, linking to endpoint incidents.
Collaboration &
- Documentation:
o Work with Security Architect and Incident Response Lead to design training campaigns and metrics strategies.
o Collaborate with SOC Analysts to correlate phishing metrics with Falcon/Defender endpoint incidents (e.g., clicks leading to malware).
o Coordinate with HR/Communications for employee onboarding, training assignments,
and Awareness Communications.
o Track tasks in Atlassian Jira and document campaign configurations in Confluence for knowledge transfer.
Required Skills
Technical Skills:
o KnowBe4: Campaign management (training modules, phishing simulations), metrics tracking (completion/click rates), compliance reporting, integration with
Proofpoint/Falcon for simulations.
o Integration &
- Monitoring: Sentinel log export and correlation (KnowBe4 with
Falcon/Defender, e.g., phishing clicks to endpoint alerts), Azure AD user group syncing,
reporting tools for compliance dashboards.
o Cybersecurity Knowledge: Social engineering tactics (phishing/BEC), GDPR/NIST training mandates.
Soft Skills:
o Collaboration via Microsoft Teams for stand-ups and HR coordination.
o Documentation in Confluence for GIC knowledge transfer and compliance reporting.
o Communication to tailor training material to diverse audiences (execs, shop floor).
o Agile workflows using Atlassian Jira for task tracking.
Qualifications
Experience:5-8 years in security awareness, training, or compliance roles;
experience with
KnowBe4 or similar platforms preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Certifications: KnowBe4 KMSAT Administrator or equivalent required
- CompTIA Security+,
Microsoft Fundamentals (AZ-900) preferred.
